Blessed and Beautiful
Blessed and Beautiful is an online ministry for Christian women and those interested in faith. The aim is to promote transparency through the written word. Through sharing experiences, lessons and obstacles overcome Blessed and Beautiful aims to be a platform where women can find comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their thoughts, feelings and experiences. Through this the hope is that women are informed and equipped to overcome, succeed and ultimately grow in their relationship with Christ.
Why I created this site?
I don’t want to say that there aren’t websites or blogs for Christian women because there are, in fact there are loads. However, I wanted to create my own simply because there is something so specific that I looked for every time I googled my burning questions followed by ‘Christian girl/woman/teenager’.
I love transparency. I love when people are honest and unfiltered about the difficult feelings and experiences surrounding Christian womanhood. In my google searches that varied from curiosity to desperately wanting to find an answer, the content that helped me the most were those where Christian women were transparent about what they had been through and how, with God, they worked through it.
That’s why I created this blog, for the curious and those desperate for an answer. For women who want to hear the stories and thoughts of other women, with everything having a biblical foundation, this space is for you.
What to expect?
I will be writing on Blessed and Beautiful every Wednesday and Friday, with there being a focus on lessons I have learnt and lessons I am currently learning. Additionally, in depth pieces of biblical scripture will be on the blog.
Over some time, there will also be contributing posts and a means for you as a reader to communicate with the Blessed and Beautiful team, so we produce tailored content for you.
What YOU can do?
Engage, share, comment. Let us at Blessed and Beautiful know what you think about the content we produce; constructive criticism will breed better work so feel free to share some. Don’t be afraid to question what is being said or add your own experiences and opinions. Most of all, let the words change you, if you are moved to action by anything that is said don’t get captivated by the buzz of hearing a good word but make steps to enact change and experience transformation in your own life.
